Technoship has a lengthy experience with Dutch naval projects. All Dutch naval patrol vessels, the joint support ship and the combat support ship were outfitted with Ultra Fog high-pressure watermist systems. The systems were developed in close collaboration with Technoship, Ultra Fog, Damen and DMO, which resulted in completely dry pipe systems based on the safe return to port concept and controlled by autonomous Ultra Fog software in communication with the ship’s platform management system. Latest naval project is for the German defense organization, ordered by Damen Naval. Technoship and Ultra Fog have gained experience in dealing with such challenging naval projects, including the integrated logistic services involved. The Ultra Fog systems on board have proven to be reliable and safe. Ultra Fog software provides the crew with important status and condition based monitoring information.
Technoship has introduced Steen GmbH in the Dutch naval market. Steen specializes in both super yacht and naval deck equipment and can build on a fast experience. Naval projects worldwide have been outfitted with Steen anchor capstans, anchor winches, auto-tensioning mooring winches, chain stoppers and specially developed controls. Recent projects include deliveries for the German F126 frigates. Steen has developed remotely controlled anchor winches, combined capstan-bollard concepts, master switches and special condition based monitoring devices for naval projects. Steen offers consultancy to yards and naval clients with regards to the chain run design, safe operation and control.
